AKl Race Time Lap
The time and lap calculator is here to help predict your finish time. It gives you an idea of whether you will finish before any cut-off times and helps ensure everyone has a great day, knowing what to expect and what’s ahead.
Some races are about going solo.
This one? It’s about showing what a team can do.
The AKL Team Tri splits the challenge three ways — one swimmer, one cyclist, one runner — each taking on their specialty and handing over the momentum like a relay built for legends. No juggling disciplines, no saving energy for later… just one pure, all-out effort in the area you’re best at.
The swim starts the party. Your water warrior takes on Mission Bay head-on, powering through a clean, well-marked course while the rest of the squad fuels the hype on the beach.
Once they hit transition, it’s the biker’s moment to shine.
The Tāmaki Drive loop is smooth, fast, and stacked with atmosphere — cafés roaring, spectators lining the route, and a constant stream of athletes pushing the pace. Your cyclist gets to lock into their rhythm and carry the team forward.
Then it’s time for the runner to bring it home.
Short, sharp laps packed with supporters, aid stations, and pure race-day electricity. Every turn, every cheer, every stride gets the team closer to that finish chute.
This is non-drafting racing — clean, fair, and honest from start to finish.
